Our new bespoke desk modules – providing power, data, voice and video connections – have been successfully installed for two of our long-standing clients. BICSI European Conference Held in Dublin from 18th to 20th of June 2007, the BICSI European Conference was a great success, providing Nick Berry with an ideal opportunity to keep up to date with current developments in the ITS industry. Topics discussed included the environmental control of data centres, testing of fibre optic systems to account for 10GB/s protocols and Category 6A cabling. |

End-users expand their networks
To facilitate the continued growth of one of our end-users, a new floor distributor – providing 160No. outlets – has been added to the previously installed 300No. outlet cabling system. Another client has also taken on more floorspace – adding 120No. additional outlets. Wireless design course completed Nick Berry has recently gained an Advanced BTEC qualification in Wireless LAN Design and Installation. The course paid particular attention to securing wireless networks against attack – an area that should be of great concern to all organisations using this technology. |
